“Make Your Rides Much More Fun! ”

When I first began using my existing coach, Connie Warner (see warnerssporthorses.com), she recommended this book to me. My past coaches were from show barns: get your horse within the maximum jump as quickly as possible and win ribbons sort of trainers. When Connie began setting up these exercises, I was baffled- I hadn’t ever done any sort of running before.I can safely say that the exercises in this book helped Ruby and I with jumping confidence, control (we had difficulties with bolting after jumps), bending, and consistency. The illustrations are extremely clear and easy to use. Once you master the lessons from this book, you can move things around and make adjustments faily easily.Note: ” I think that the distances in this book are set for a very large riding arena: Connie and I plan to find these gymnastics to fit within our small ring, but we have never had any difficulties doing this- we may need to leave out a jump, but we’ve done well with this anyhow. Please don’t try the higher problems . For trot pole strings, you can get away with placing lines somewhat off, but if you plan on jumping, you have to be mindful of your distances. Connie will set up a workout for me to do with her, I abandon it and practice exactly the exact same one! Bounces are my favored

    “Thorough Brilliance”

Brilliant diagrams, excellent keys, simply mapped out and put out advice for hard and the simplest of dressage manoevres. Its jump at the top for a reverse, with a hole punched down close to the floor so you may hang the publication or at home and keep it open as you study it. It gives you ideas to improve flaws and has tips to attain rankings. It’s by far the very best publication on jumping exercises I have read so far that’s dedicated purely to jumping exercises.Just around EVERY page has yet another complete A4 riding stadium on it revealing the routine where the horse is moving, it shows crossbars and it reveals trotting poles, verticals, gymnastics and where to put them, it reveals where you should be directing your horse and what way to approach with an excellent use of diagrams and patterns that have a crucial directly next to it so the layout stays uncluttered and easy to read. It provides you alternatives that are economical to make some jumps offers and yourselves solutions that are quick. A best buy for anyone serious about jumping – or even dressage – to maintain their horse supple and also to maintain their horse (and themselves!) From boredom. Brilliant.

    “Excellent ! ”

We are using this book during the practice of the young event horse. Having little experience in horses but rather while frequently using a lesson, riding them, this book is invaluable things to look for and what to do. This publication should not substitutes A knowledgeable and nice trainer. But here is the trick:the rider can be too active during training to try to remember the words that are trainers and time afterwards and Lessons and practices are hard to replicate. This will unavoidably leave her or him with many questions, particularly? This publication makes you answer for yourself. It is however mandatory to have look and a helper stand alongside, to read and comment on how the exercises are done. This too is a very good learning experience.Anyone using this book is strongly advised to begin at the beginning, however simple it may seem and perform each and every exercise as precisely as possible before transitioning to the next. I think this isn’t a book for the novice rider. But being exact and very thorough will help you to be critical of your horses degree of instruction and your own, while becoming a position to pinpoint flaws. Overall this book is a wonderful addition to your training and understanding thereof. Patience, empathy and self criticism are the virtues of horse training so get the hang of it!A similarly good novel is101 Dressage Exercises for Horse and RiderAlso very recommended!Enjoy your coaching and be thankful for your horses response to your efforts!
